With our extensive knowledge and expertise in document management (and in our understanding of the specific requirements of a property department), we specialise in turning your "paper mountains" into concise, electronic databases, to be accessed from stand alone PCs, shared across departmental and organisational networks, or remotely over the internet.

We are able to work with you in devising suitable pilot schemes to ensure that the systems and services you wish to implement are the very best for your organisation. The sds Property team established itself in 1995 when we were awarded our first main real estate and property project from British Gas Transco. It knew and fully understood that at the time sds Property was a young company, eager, enthusiastic and technically capable of undertaking and delivering the required system proposed. However, because of our relative inexperience, senior legal representatives of Transco felt it imperative that they worked closely with us in the early stages in order to satisfy themselves that engineered quality management systems and procedures were in place, so that the final system could be proved and 100% accurate.

As a result of the stringent mechanisms in place, operatives were allowed to un-bind or un-stitch the wayleaves so that they could be scanned on the most appropriate scanning stations (large format colour, A4 legal, and so on). In total, 22,000 wayleaves were scanned and put through our processes, which amounted to half a million A4 sheets of paper and over 50,000 colour maps (the vast majority of which were size A2 and larger). The project was completed, and successfully delivered and implemented on time, to specification and to budget.

We do not provide off-the-shelf products. Every project undertaken is bespoke and tailor-made to meet individual organisation's specific requirements.

As a consequence of building one-off systems, we fully understand and appreciate the client's need to change the system as it is being built. There is bound to be certain functionality required in the end product which isn't planned at the start. However, this does not present a problem, because we use a rapid prototyping technique of design, where we will involve you at key milestones of development in order to shape the system to your exact requirements.
